WHERE the market is going
The order book shows you exactly where buyers and sellers are positioned. Buy walls and sell walls reveal the battlefield before the battle happens. When a wall gets eaten — price moves. You'll see it before it happens.
Most traders never look at the order book. That's your edge.
Confirmation 2
Trend Strength
HOW STRONG the move is
A wall means nothing without context. Strong trends bulldoze walls. Weak trends respect them. Reading trend strength across multiple timeframes tells you whether the wall will hold or break — before price gets there.
Trend strength determines everything. It's the context that makes the order book readable.
Confirmation 3
The Funding Rate
WHO HAS the edge
Negative funding = shorts getting paid = sell edge. Positive funding = longs getting paid = buy edge. The funding rate tells you which side the market is rewarding. When extreme — it predicts reversals. When aligned — it pays you to hold.
Most traders ignore funding rates entirely. You'll use them as a free edge on every trade.
